Managed to book a same day appointment for my dog at Althorne site. Surgery was empty when I arrived but consultation with the vet didn't start until 20 mins after due time. Surgery is nicely laid out, clean and tidy as you'd expect for a newly refurbished building.

First time visiting the Althorne surgery today. New and spacious premises. All staff were friendly and welcoming. Courtesy dog treat included. Previously used the Burnham surgery which has now closed. Excellent service has continued here. From our experience I would recommend this surgery if local to the area. Thanks!

Edgewood has been brilliant since getting my cat. The team have been brilliant with her and have always helped within a minutes notice if we have an emergency (or the cat helps herself to something she shouldn’t eat…). I have had her spayed today, which would have been my third or fourth appointment with the group following vaccinations, and the whole process was painless from start to finish. We have been provided appropriate guidance surrounding aftercare for her and given suitable food and medication for the next 10 days of recovery. We have also been advised about follow up appointments which were booked around my availability. Whilst price isn’t a concern for most pet owners I also note that their pricing was in my eyes was more than fair for the level of service and reassurance I have received. 5 stars from me and a big thanks to the team. I will definitely be continuing to use Edgewood in the future.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at this veterinary practice. The actions of the staff made my dog fearful and anxious about veterinary visits, which was never an issue before. Instead of taking responsibility, they labeled my dog as aggressive and offered no support, blaming my dog for the problem they initiated. On top of this, they have unlawfully refused to provide me with Bella’s medical records unless I pay more money, which is a clear violation of GDPR. The lack of care, professionalism, and respect shown by this practice is appalling. I would not recommend their services to anyone who cares about their pet’s well-being.
